How Do I Cancel a Verification Request?

Explains how customers can cancel a verification request in the Admin Portal

You can cancel a verification request at any time from the Admin Portal by deleting the applicant group associated with the request.

This will immediately stop the verification process for all applicants in that group.


How to cancel a verification request

  1. Log in to the Admin Portal

  2. Navigate to the Applicants section

  3. Search for and select the applicant group you want to cancel

  4. Open the applicant group details page

  5. Click Delete in the top-right corner

  6. Confirm the deletion

Once deleted, the verification request will be canceled.


What happens after you cancel a request

When you delete an applicant group:

  • The verification request is canceled for all applicants in the group

  • The verification link becomes inactive

  • Applicants can no longer continue the verification

  • An email notification is automatically sent to all applicants informing them that their invite has been cancelled


When you should cancel a request

You may want to cancel a verification request if:

  • The application was withdrawn

  • The wrong applicants were invited

  • The verification is no longer needed


Important notes

  • Deleting the applicant group permanently cancels the request

  • This action cannot be undone

  • You will need to create a new verification request if you want to restart the process
