From time to time, applicants may fail the ID verification step during the application process. When this happens, leasing teams often direct applicants to contact Payscore for assistance with resubmitting their ID. It’s important to clarify the correct process to avoid delays and confusion.
Key Policy
If an applicant fails ID verification, the original verification cannot be reopened or retried.
What To Do Instead
To allow the applicant to try again, the leasing team must:
Send a brand new ID verification request to the applicant
Ensure the applicant completes the new request using the updated link

Important Notes
Payscore cannot reset or reopen a failed ID verification session
Applicants must not reuse the original link, as it will remain invalid
