If you cannot log in to your bank or payroll provider during verification, you will need to reset your password directly with that provider.

Payscore does not manage or control your bank or payroll login credentials.

How to reset your bank password

If you are connecting a bank account:

  1. Go to your bank’s official website (not the app connection screen)

  2. Click “Forgot Password” or “Reset Password”

  3. Complete the bank’s recovery process

  4. Return to your Payscore verification and try connecting again

How to reset your payroll provider password

If you are connecting a payroll provider (such as ADP, Workday, Paychex, etc.):

  • Use the “Forgot password” option on your payroll provider’s login page

  • Or contact your employer or payroll administrator for assistance

Payroll login credentials are issued and managed by your employer or payroll provider.

Why Payscore cannot reset these passwords

For security and privacy reasons, Payscore:

  • Cannot see your login credentials

  • Cannot reset your bank password

  • Cannot reset your payroll account password

You must reset these directly with the financial institution or payroll provider.

After resetting your password

Once your password has been successfully reset:

  • Return to your verification link

  • Restart the bank or payroll connection

  • Enter your updated credentials

Still having trouble connecting?

If you continue to experience login issues after resetting your password, click the live chat button in the bottom-right corner of your verification page. A support agent can help guide you through the next steps.
