Using Payscore in Rent Manager (Overview)

Overview of how to use Payscore in Rent Manager

Payscore integrates directly with Rent Manager, allowing your team to send verification requests, track applicant progress, and access reports without leaving the Prospect record.

This includes:

  • Income Verification requests

  • Identity Verification requests (if enabled)

  • Applicant status tracking

  • Automatic report delivery inside Rent Manager

Once the integration is active, leasing teams can manage the entire verification workflow directly from the Payscore tab within a Prospect or Tenant.


Getting started (Setup & activation)

If you have not yet activated the Rent Manager integration, start here:

If the Payscore tabs do not appear in your Prospect or Tenant records, the integration is likely not activated or fully configured.


Where to find Payscore in Rent Manager

After the integration is set up, custom Payscore tabs will appear under each Prospect, such as:

  • Automated Income Verification

  • Identity Verification (if enabled)

How the verification workflow works

The typical workflow inside Rent Manager is:

  1. Open a Prospect or Tenant record

  2. Navigate to the Payscore verification tab

  3. Send a verification invite

  4. Applicants complete the verification process

  5. Reports and status fields automatically populate

What happens after you send an invite

Once a verification request is sent:

  • Applicants receive an email invitation

  • Text invites are sent if a phone number is available

  • Automatic reminders may be sent (based on configuration)

  • Status updates appear directly in the Payscore tab

  • Email notifications can be sent when applicants start and complete verification


Identity Verification in Rent Manager

If Identity Verification is enabled for your account, the process works the same way as income verification:

  • Open the Identity Verification tab

  • Select Send Invite

  • Save and refresh

Invitations, reminders, and report delivery follow the same automated workflow.
