If you get paid by check, you can still complete your income verification. The next steps depend on how you receive and use your paycheck.
If you deposit your checks into a bank account
If you deposit your checks into a personal bank account, you should complete verification by connecting that bank account.
When you connect your bank:
Deposited checks will appear as income deposits
Your income can be detected and included in your income verification report
No additional steps are required
This is the fastest and most common way to verify income from check payments.
If you cash your checks and do not use a bank account
If you cash your checks and do not deposit them into a bank account, the system may not be able to automatically verify your income.
In this case, you should:
Open your Payscore verification link
Click the live chat button in the bottom-right corner
Ask to speak with a support agent
Our support team will review your situation and guide you through the appropriate next steps.
Why bank deposits matter
Payscore verifies income using:
Bank verification
Payroll verification
If checks are deposited into a bank account, the income can be securely detected through your transaction history. If checks are only cashed and not deposited, there may be limited or no income data available to verify automatically.
Important notes
You should still begin the verification process using your original link
Connecting a bank account is recommended if available
Do not email copies of checks, as documents cannot be accepted by email
