When you send a verification request, applicants receive email and text notifications with a secure link to complete the verification process.

This article explains:

Email sender address

All verification emails are sent from:

Applicants should watch for messages from this address.


Email notification

When an applicant is first invited, they receive an email with a subject line similar to:

<Company> sent you an income/asset verification request for the property on <street address>

The email includes:

  • Your company name

  • The property address

  • A secure link to begin verification

  • Clear instructions on what action is required


Text message notification

If a phone number is provided, applicants also receive a text message containing:

  • A short message letting them know action is required

  • A secure link to complete verification

Additional notifications during verification

Applicants may receive additional notifications as they move through the verification process, including:

  • Reminder messages if verification has not been completed

  • Confirmation when verification is finished

All notifications direct applicants back to the same secure verification workflow.


Important notes

  • Email and text messages are sent immediately when the verification request is created

  • Applicants can start verification from either the email or the text message

  • If an applicant says they didn’t receive a notification, confirm:

    • The email address and phone number are correct

    • Spam or junk folders were checked

    • SMS messages are not blocked on their device
