Payscore’s Yardi integration allows income and identity verification to run automatically when an application is submitted—without manual action from leasing teams.

What the Yardi integration does
When an applicant submits an application in Yardi:
Payscore automatically sends verification invitations
Applicants receive email and text notifications
Reminders are sent automatically
Completed reports are uploaded directly into Yardi
Leasing teams do not need to manually send invites or upload reports.
How invitations are triggered
Once an application is submitted in Yardi:
An invite is automatically sent by email and text
The system checks for required fields before sending
Required for an invite to send
Email address
Rental amount
If either is missing:
The invite will not be sent
Once the missing information is added in Yardi, the invite will be sent automatically
⏱️ Payscore syncs with Yardi every 5 minutes, so there may be a short delay between application submission and the invite being sent.
Income and identity verification
Income verification
Sent automatically when the application is submitted
Once completed, the income report is uploaded into Yardi
Identity verification (if enabled)
Sent at the same time as income verification
The identity verification report is uploaded automatically when completed
No additional action is required by the leasing team.
Where reports appear in Yardi
Income report location
Income reports are stored under the Guest Card attachments.
Identity verification report location
Identity verification reports are stored under the individual occupant’s attachments.
RentCafe
In RentCafe, Payscore documents appear in the Prospect Profile under Documents.
Guarantors
If an application includes guarantors:
A separate verification invite is sent to each guarantor
Guarantor income criteria (if configured) is applied
Guarantors also receive identity verification invites when enabled
What leasing teams should expect
Invitations are sent automatically
Reports appear automatically in Yardi
No manual uploads or follow-ups are required
If an invite was not sent but was expected to, make sure that every applicant has an email address and the household has a rental amount
