If you’ve already submitted your income verification but need to make a change — for example, connect a different account, fix a mistake, or update your income explanation — you can re-open your verification to make those updates.
When you might need to re-open
You may want to re-open your income verification if:
You connected the wrong bank account or payroll provider
You forgot to add an income explanation
You need to update or correct information before review
How to re-open your income verification
1. Open your original verification link
Use the email or portal link you were sent to complete your verification.
2. Select “Re-open income verification”
This option appears on the verification page after your initial submission.
3. Confirm the re-open
You’ll be prompted to confirm that you want to make changes.
4. Make your updates
After reopening, you can:
Connect a different bank account or payroll provider
Update your income explanation
Correct any errors
5. Submit your verification again
Once finished, submit the updated verification.
What happens after you re-open
After you resubmit:
Payscore generates an updated income verification report
The updated report is shared with the reviewer
The previous version is replaced
